Value-Based Payments
Value-based payments are in addition to, and separate from, claim revenue. The point is to treat our patient disease burden and STOP relying on fee-for-service revenue for our survival. While we are at it, shall we get past just surviving?
Clinical Integration
The key to our success is clinical integration between our participants EHR and Health Solutions management platform. We link patient attribution and disease burden information with our providers' EHR. This eliminates the need to enter data in to a portal and other nuisances.

The Rural Advantage

Our value proposition was created for RHC-FQHC Providers with few good alternatives for participating in Value-Based Payment programs. The Rural Advantage was established by North American HMS (proven leaders in the RHC-FQHC reimbursement) in 2021. Our focus is on Provider Well-Being. RHC providers are FAR down the Healthcare Reimbursement food-chain. Most Accountable Care Organizations allowed RHCs and FQHCs to participate, but without a deep understanding of these entities. The Rural Advantage was established by RHC-FQHC experts FOR RHCs and FQHCs. Our emphasis on Provider Well-Being means this: we are focused on making the providers generating the value are the ones being rewarded. The point is to capture revenue for our providers, which is in addition to, and separate from traditional claim payments.

Value Based Payments for RHCs and FQHCs

RHCs and FQHCs no not believe they qualify for Value-Based Payments because of volume, or the due to Medicare RHC/FQHC claims being filed differently than "fee-for-service." Most ACOs do NOT have a solid understanding of RHC/FQHC providers and their needs. We were created to fill that void for RHC and FQHC providers. The Rural Advantage was designed by RHC experts. Our clinical integration tools will help IDENTIFY your patient attribution. Lightbeam Health Solutions are our Popluation Health Partners.
    Provider Engagement
    We keep our tools simple to prevent increasing administrative burden. We engage provider offices to ensure goals are achievable and clearly-defined. We provide significant education to ensure that our participants providers know why these activities are important and how to achieve our Shared Savings goals.
    Expertise
    No Value-Based Care organizations have the RHC/FQHC reimbursement and compliance expertise as The Rural Advantage. No other organization can leverare The Rural Advantage knowledge of RHC/FQHC reimbursement to ensure that Shared Savings measures are properly reported.
